Welcome to the PMI Eastern Iowa Chapter

The Project Management Institute (PMI) Eastern Iowa Chapter (EIC) is a dynamic organization of professional project managers dedicated to serving the business and educational communities of Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Iowa City, Waterloo, and their surrounding counties through the advancement of project management. The PMI EIC provides a forum for project managers to promote PMI's principles and vision through networking, sharing project experiences, providing and receiving training, and supporting project managers in their certification efforts to receive or maintain the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential and other PMI-recognized credentials for program and project management.

  • Director Positions Available for 2012

    We need your help! Several director positions remain open for 2012. If you are interested in volunteering for a director position, click on Get Involved > Volunteer Openings or click here to be redirected directly to the Volunteer page.

     

    Click the link under each opening for more information. If you are interested in applying, click Apply Now, complete the requested fields, and attach a copy of your current resume. This action generates an e-mail to the current Board of Directors, who will review your application and reply to you.

  • Kirkwood Global Education Network 

    The PMI Eastern Iowa Chapter has agreed to work with Kirkwood Community College on their Global Education Network program. Kirkwood will host a group of approximately 40 international students during the first three weeks of July. The PMI Eastern Iowa Chapter is partnering with Kirkwood to expose the students to the real world challenges of project management. We are looking for individuals to host company tours or be a guest speaker. Contact Bob Sanders at unioutreach@pmieasterniowa.org.
