2009 Director Positions
As we move into 2009 it is time to say goodbye to several of our long standing chapter Directors. Although this
is an unfortunate event, it also brings with it opportunities for other chapter members to get involved.
If you are willing to spend about 5 to 10 hours a month, if you are willing to learn a new skill, if you are
willing to stick to a year’s commitment for helping the chapter meet its goals, then
WE WANT YOU!!!!
The following is a list of all the Director positions that the chapter offers:
-Director At-Large
-Director of Certifications
-Director of Corporate Outreach
-Director of Individual Outreach
-Director of University Outreach
-Director of Logistics
-Director of Marketing
-Director of Member Relations
-Director of Newsletter
-Director of Professional Development
-Director of Programs
-Director of Technology

If you are interested in filling one of these positions, either contact Darin
Hart (Past President) or Paddy Puthige (President) or any other member of the Board of Directors..
PMP Professional Development Units (PDUs)
Remember To Register Your PDUs: Chapter members with PMP® and CAPM®
certificates should review and register eligible PDUs at the www.pmi.org
website. The Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program rules and PDU
on-line registration forms can be found in the Career Development pages of the
www.pmi.org website.
Earning PDUs: There are many ways in 2009 to earn PDUs to maintain a PMI certification. Attend one or more of our monthly chapter
meetings. Sign up and attend one or more of the training opportunities listed in our newsletter each month. Become a PMI global or chapter volunteer; there are
plenty of volunteer choices to check out. Sign up to give a chapter meeting presentation about your favorite project management topic.
You can also attend our PDD that will be scheduled in 2009. See the CCR
manual or contact a chapter board member for many more ideas.
